Our Heritage

Five Generations.
One Standard.

Charles Wollenweber I arrived from Germany in 1888 and built a horse-drawn hauling business on Granby Street in Little Italy — moving tin plate from Sparrows Point to Canton's canning plants.

The company survived the Depression of 1893, the Great Baltimore Fire of 1904, two World Wars, and the full deregulation of the trucking industry. Each generation handed something better to the next.

Today, Chad Wollenweber leads a company with 400,000+ square feet of warehouse space and a fleet that still runs the same corridors his great-great-grandfather hauled by horse.
